mount to the BMW luggage rack on the R 1100/1150 RT, the R 850 / 1100 R (up through
2001), the R 1100 / 1150 GS, the R 1100 RS(L).

Each backrest is made from a welded aircraft-grade aluminum frame,
powder-coated in black with matching, black hardware.

need to be fitted with either of the two BMW luggage racks, part # 46 542 316 607
or # 71 602 317 609 along with subframe # 46 542 331 477
for installation of this backrest.

This model features a luggage rack as a part of the design.
R 1100 / 1150 GS (1995-2004)
(NOTE:
This backrest fits all GS models with the factory luggage rack pre-mounted.)
